xo Notes

Notes on my practice—drawn from my own life and insights from some of the people I work with.

Each note moves through 3 ideas that shape the core work in my process: Direction—connecting with what feels meaningful and orienting our inner compass; Practice—taking actions that feel supportive and sustainable; and Perspective—exploring shifts in how we consider and interpret our experiences. The order shifts with the situation. Sometimes we need to take action first to shift our perspective, and other times a new perspective is what makes the next step possible.

I’ll share a glimpse into how I apply my process throughout my own life and how others move through it in their own way—in the big moments and the seemingly small in-between moments.

When I talk about seeking alignment over balance, and how we can return to alignment again and again, it’s about how we carry ourselves through every situation, not just one. It takes continuous practice, and the only guarantee I’ll make is that it’s rarely perfect.

If a note resonates with you, I’d love to know. DM me on Instagram @deannachowxo or email me at contact@deannachow.com.

Thank you for visiting.

P.S. You’ll notice I’m an avid em-dasher, because sometimes I love a dramatic pause—in life and in grammar.
